This site is dedicated to the memory of Chris Edwards.

Chris's family and friends have set up this Snowdrop Memorial Fund in his memory.

Chris was first diagnosed with mesothelioma in March 2010 aged 64. The family’s whole world was shattered by this news.We had never heard of mesothelioma before and discovered to our horror that it was an aggressive, incurable lung cancer that was caused by exposure to asbestos.

Chris had dedicated his life from a young age to working as an electrician in schools, churches and various buildings without being aware of the danger he faced being exposed to this deadly substance.

Sadly after a long and hard battle Chris lost his fight against Mesothelioma in March 2011 and passed away with his family by his side. Chris was dearly loved by his wife, three daughters and four grandchildren and will be sorely missed by all who had the honour of knowing this wonderful and kind man. He will never be forgotton and is always in our hearts.

Donations made through the Chris Edwards Snowdrop Fund willbenefit the work of the Mick Knighton Mesothelioma Research Fund (MKMRF).
